A warm and welcoming place where you feel a bit like home, only better. An unusual bar with far more possibilities than you might expect. That's what makes it so charming. You'll always be warmly welcomed, and to understand why, well, you'll just have to go and check it out for yourself.

Lively atmosphere in this downtown bar. The manager is friendly and offers a diverse drinks menu. Pleasant terrace. I recommend it.

I stopped by Don Pablo almost by chance one sunny Sunday afternoon. A drink on the terrace, the city stretching out gently… and time slowing down. A new team is at the helm: Eugène, the owner, already brimming with ideas, and Kenzo behind the bar, precise in his movements. His Aperol Spritz is just right. The place itself hasn't lost its ambition, that "Saint-Tropez" feel that, from the very beginning, sought to shift the center of gravity of Besançon. There's a nascent energy here, still evolving. Beware, a skilled scammer will take your picture "for his Instagram account" (an account that appears to be nonexistent) and send you to eat across the street in exchange for a commission. The establishment across the street, according to him, is "one of the best in town," but it's mediocre, even if the service is decent. Avoid it.

While visiting Besançon, we stumbled upon Don Pablo. At first glance, it seems like any other bar on Rue Bersot (the street of bars and restaurants), but we were pleasantly surprised to discover two absolutely fantastic waiters, Megane and Damien! I highly recommend this bar if you want to spend a pleasant time in good company!

A nice spot for cocktails. The drinks are well-made. However, the space is a bit cramped, which can make the experience feel a little confined, especially when it's busy. If you're looking for a place to enjoy good cocktails, Don Pablo is an excellent choice, but be prepared for somewhat limited space during peak hours.
