My Little Italy Pizzeria & Brasserie

We spent two days in this town and ate here twice. Even though the kitchen was closing, we spontaneously managed to get something delicious to eat. We found the atmosphere authentically pleasant, and the service was friendly and welcoming. The beer was delicious; we were even allowed to sample different varieties to find the one we liked best. The salad was beautifully dressed, and the pizzas were very large and absolutely delicious. This place is fantastic, and if you want to eat authentic local food, this is the place to go. Many locals also frequent this restaurant. That's precisely what makes it so charming.

The carbonara was unfortunately very bad. The waiter was incredibly rushed and extremely unfriendly, making us feel completely unwelcome. Instead of a relaxed atmosphere, he made us feel hurried and uncomfortable. Any hope that the food might compensate for this quickly faded when it was finally served after a rather short wait.

When we arrived, we thought it was a typical Italian restaurant, so we decided to give it a try. Our expectations were not met: We had absolutely no time to think about our order and were rushed. The unfriendly waiters and waitresses made us feel very uncomfortable and unwelcome. When the food arrived, some of the pasta was still hard – that's unacceptable. For the price, the value for money (for us) wasn't great, especially with the pasta, which was already disappointing. The portion wasn't particularly large, but that's a matter of personal taste. Due to the many negative points, I have no choice but to give the restaurant 1 star. I am very disappointed. I completely disagree with the many "good" reviews.

A truly fantastic Italian restaurant! The pizza was outstanding – wonderfully crispy and pleasantly different from the classic pizza you usually find. The gnocchi were also something special and simply delicious. Everything was freshly prepared and presented with great care. The service was friendly, attentive, and quick. We felt completely at ease and will gladly return on our next visit to Besançon!
